Internship on the project: An Analysis of the Organizational Ecosystem of Refugee-Targeted Integration Services in the City of Utrecht

The Refugee Wellbeing and Integration Initiative (RWII) is a research group
established in 2020. We work with and on behalf of governments, institutions and
civil society bodies on cases relevant to refugees’ well-being and integration. Central
to our values is that newcomers’ voices in scientific research must be at the heart of
our activities.

Gemeente Utrecht commissioned RWII to analyse the organizational ecosystem of
refugee-targeted services in the city and to report its findings for integration policy
coordination purposes. As part of the analysis, the researchers at RWII are
conducting interviews with the organizations’ representatives as well as recruiting
participants for an online survey.

The candidate is expected to help the data collection process, mainly by assisting
the RWII researchers during the online interviews with the organisations and the
data-cleaning process.

Required skills:
● Proficient knowledge of Dutch, good command of English
● Social and interviewing skills
● Sufficient understanding of handling questionnaire data

Duration of the internship:
15 June – 1 September 2022
