About the internship

As an intern at our organisation, you work with different teams to prepare and implement training programmes on topics related to local governance. As an intern you are an indispensable part of our team and you get a good insight into the work of an international NGO. Curious?

Duties and responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development, management and implementation of (online) training programmes
- Assisting facilitators during (online) live exchange sessions with the participants
- Management of the online training platform
- Contact point for all kinds of questions from the international training participants
- Monitoring the online activities and progress of the participants during the trainings
- Editing and proofreading written (online) training modules
- Partly responsible for managing the general mailbox of The Hague Academy
- Communication support, such as writing articles for the newsletter and managing social media
- Supporting in the selection process of candidates for a scholarship
- Archiving training materials and other documents
About you
- WO / HBO level (University or Vocational Education level)
- Good command of the English language
- One vacancy is for a candidate who has a good command of the Dutch language
- One vacancy is for a candidate who has a good command of the French language
- Flexible attitude and team player
- Strong attention to details
- Good communication and social skills to work in a multicultural environment
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to work independently and from a distance
- International students are eligible for these internship positions if they can prove that they have permission to work in the Netherlands
